What to expect on day one

Leave your nerves at the door. Our studio is a supportive space where everyone starts at the very beginning. Here is how we prepare you for your first session.

1. What to wear

Comfort is key. Wear loose, breathable clothing that allows you to stretch and move freely. For footwear, any closed, hard-soled shoe with a small, sturdy heel is perfect to help you feel the floor and hear your footwork.

2. The atmosphere

You will be surrounded by other beginners on the exact same journey. There is no judgment and no pressure to be perfect. We celebrate small improvements and focus on enjoying the music together.

3. Pacing yourself

Flamenco requires coordination that takes time to build. We break down every movement slowly, allowing your muscle memory to develop naturally without rushing the process.

Our Syllabus

Building a strong, authentic foundation.

Compás (Rhythm)

We begin by clapping (palmas) and understanding the unique rhythmic structures of different styles. Feeling the beat is the most important step.

Braceo (Arms)

Learn the expressive, fluid arm and hand movements that give this art form its unmistakable grace and emotional depth.

Zapateado (Footwork)

Gradually develop the strength and coordination needed for percussive footwork, ensuring proper technique to protect your joints.
